On Wednesday, 1st October, we went to Gdansk without our Polish partners because they stayed in Torun taking normal lessons.

We took the bus and it was a trip of about 3 hours. When we arrived, we saw the bridge and the green river, that had some green aquatic plants and that’s where its name comes from.

We entered the city guided by an English guide, she showed us the most important buildings and places in the city, for example, we saw the biggest church made of bricks, the golden door, and a lot of very beautiful houses in the main square. While we were visiting we had some free time to shop for souvenirs.

We had lunch along the way and after the visit we took the bus again to go to Sopot, which is a coastal city. There we could walk along the longest wooden pier, do some sightseeing and have dinner. After, we went back to the bus and left for Torun.

In our opinion, we think that Gdansk is an amazing city with lots of interesting places to visit. We recommend this city because we are sure that everyone that goes there will like it because it’s very different from here.
