Today we have gone to Barcelona. In the morning we have taken a guided tour to the Olympic Stadium called “Lluís Companys”, which was remodeled for the 1992 Olympic Games, then we have visited the “Palau Sant Jordi” which was built by a Japanese architect for the 1992 Olympics, and we have walked around the premises. Later we have visited the Olympic Museum, where the students have been given a booklet with some questions to be answered as they were walking around at their own pace.
Back to the coach, we have gone to “Camp Nou” Barça’s stadium. There we have seen the amount of trophies and some memorabilia related to the club and the players. Some students bought souvenirs and all of them enjoyed the visit. In the afternoon we have visited the famous “Sagrada Familia” by Gaudí. There we have been divided in two groups and have taken a guided tour to be able to learn some interesting facts about the church.
It’s been an interesting day, maybe a bit too tiring but it’s been worth.
