FESTIVALS AND HOLIDAYS

In this eTwinning project we propose that students produce a PowerPoint presentation or “Culture in a Box” on their partner country in groups. To be able to do this, students will gather information about their own country and send it to their partner school, which will be responsible for producing the PowerPoint presentation on their partner country’s cultural assets.

The focus of this project is festivals and holidays as they reflect the traditions of a country. The students will find traditions related to these festivals and holidays and see how the ways of celebrating them have changed over time until today. They will compare and contrast the various festivals and the way they are celebrated.
